ORION GENES
  A seven-part series which re-writes the story of the mankind. It reanalyses some Earth areas inhabited by ancient civilizations for the last 50,000 years. These people use high technology and they had discovered archaeological and astronomical events. What is the psychological and social legacy they have left to the current societies?

THE MOUNTAIN IS FALLING DOWN
  The doors of Navarro, the dumping site of the city of Cali for more than 30 year have just been closed: inside, a mountain of waste where every day used to work more than 1.200 people; outside 1200 men and women looking for a new place to work, and a whole city celebrating the future rubbish dump far away from the city. For the environmentalists the mountain of waste was a place of contamination, but for Navarro’s recyclers this place was their sustenance.

 

THE FOUR-PLACE LAND
  Meli Witrán Mapu is a documentary film divided into four stories following the four seasons, in the four main arts. It shows the current way of life of the Mapuche people, known for their art performance and oral tradition. Pure poetry.

 

THE CHILDREN OF RACHIDA
  3-to-12-year-old children in a Spanish public school. Through the curious, spontaneous and intercultural kids’ point of view, we learn the basis of Islam, in a didactic and pedagogic way.

 

BEHIND THE ZAWIYA
  In “Behind the Zawiyya”, we travel over the past and the present of Koranic Tidjaniya Schools in Mauritania. In these schools, children from the ethnic Peul are educated. Their families work as sedentary shepherds or farmers hundred miles away on the south of the frontier with Senegal. These brotherhoods are not only Islamic schools with a Sufi tradition but social, economic institutions covering the lack of state policies. How does Islam really works in Africa?

 

MARKET
 The documentary series analyze the “MARKET CULTURES” of the countries of origin of the main immigrant communities resident in South Europe: Ecuador, Rumania and Morocco. Those communities are the reason of the resurgence of the markets and retail galleries in South European countries.


THE MINE's DEVIL
  A man gets up very early, at dawn, he leaves his family and meets his colleagues at the mine entrance. Down there he says goodbye to life everyday. Down there, a landslide, an accident, a blackout or a spark gas that detonate and remove tunnels, mineshafts, holes... Light may never come back. Silicosis, nervous paralysis, osteoporosis, histoplasmosis (Darling’s disease), mutilations. A third’s life less than the rest of men. Cananea, 100 years on strike (1906-2006). Coal miners left from Nueva Rosita, the widows, the children who do not have parents anymore and the meagre salaries and pensions. And, in the end, death is waiting at the botton of the last tunnel. THE DEVIL's DANCE
  ‘The Devil’s Dance’ is one of the most common folkloric expressions scattered all over the Latin America continent. Originally from Levante – the Mediterranean cost in Spain-, this dance crossed the Atlantic during the Colony times and it has undergone many changes depending on the country where it takes place. The devil’s Dance is the purest expression of the ancestral culture, and this legacy refuses to die, it’s the essence of the common will, passing on from one generation to the next, calling us to take part in it. Let the party go on!

THE WRITING CAMARA
  Les glaneurs et la glaneuse by Agnès VARDA; A Place Called Love by Sadie BENNING; The Passing by Bill VIOLA; Nobody’s Business by Alan BERLINER; De l’autre côté by Chantal AKERMAN. Through individual interviews, this film proposes a journey exploring new narrative forms around the use of the camera amateur and the autoethnography.

DRAGON (THE UPRISING)
  “Dragon” is a portrait of a Tibet in exile through the most relevant characters such as, H.H. Dalai Lama (temporary and spiritual leader of Tibet), Palden Gyatso ( a monk who is author of “Fire under the snow”), Lhasang Tsering (poet and activist)... A look at the current situation and also at the world ceiling future, after a cultural genocide and conflict lasting more than 50 years .

TRANCES
  The Trances series featured interviews with world-renown experts on Neurology, Psychology, Anthropology and Neurophysiology, establishing connections between the scientific opinions and the spiritual leader’s point of view. The audience will see different rituals all over the world. They will also learn how the mind works, how can music and dancing affect to the brain and the different substances, natural and chemical (such as drugs) people take to escape from reality and from consciousness.
