The whole word has benn celebrating the anniversary of the 1968 movement, symbol of a new way of living, of thinking, of choosing or renouncing. Some looked for an alternative model of life, few ones still maintain this vital decision four decades later as YANNY LEVKOFF does.
YANNY is an unusual man who escaped from New York in 1967 and found shelter in a Mediterranean island. His vital election is hard, of entire isolation in the countryside, with no electricity, no running water. Far away from the society that surrounds him.
The directors propose him the experiment of "releasing him" in New York after 40 years of extreme and solitary life. The result is the plot of this documentary, of this journey to his origins. Already there, he is urged to be the scriptwriter of his trip.
How will it react to the confrontation with his past and to the society he always tried to avoid?
