A social documentary about Zimbabwe’s HIV/AIDS positive mothers and their initiative to transmit their memories to their children before passing away
Lilian is sitting next to her son Clemence on the floor of their small wooden house.
They finished their daily duties and as every evening, they spent half an hour to write a new chapter in their “Memory Book”.
Today they’ll talk about Lillian’s childhood and her friendship with her best friend Estella.
We are in Mutare, the third biggest city of Zimbabwe and the place where PLAN works on the “Memory Book Project”, based on helping HIV-positive mothers to write their memories and messages for the future to their children, which they most probably won’t see growing up.
